Fun Fact: I was born and raised in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. It’s in the northeastern part of America called New England. When most Japanese people think of maple syrup, they think of Canada, and most of the maple syrup sold in Japan, is indeed from Canada. But, Vermont is the America’s leading producer of maple syrup. Producing over 2 million gallons of syrup in 2020. There was a maple candy factory just outside of town that provided tours and free samples. A sweet and sticky treat!
