I sometimes think cooking is a chore, but when I get inspired by something, I can’t wait to get in the kitchen and start cooking. I’m very good at coming up with something with whatever I have in my fridge, but my inspiration for lunch today came from the local supermarket. I saw a jar of sauerkraut and instantly thought, hot dogs! Sauerkraut is basically a German pickled cabbage. It goes really well with sausages and the like. I knew I had some nice French rolls at home, so I bought a pack of onion and pepper sausages along with the sauerkraut and I was on my way. I also stir fried some onions and peppers to add to the hot dog. Today’s inspiration was delicious!
